- Manage end-to-end payroll processes across assigned EMEA countries, working closely with an outsourced payroll provider.
- Act as the subject matter expert for Italian payroll, ensuring compliance with all local regulations and deadlines.
- Provide support for internal and external audits across EMEA.
- Deliver payroll and accounting month-end procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to resolve payroll queries and provide expert guidance.
- Ensure accurate and timely input of data from HR systems and other sources.
- Prepare and complete statutory returns and other reporting requirements.
- Handle payroll-related queries with confidence and professionalism.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and company requirements, advising colleagues of changes or improvements as needed.
- Minimum 2 years' experience within an EMEA payroll environment, with demonstrable experience of running Italian payrolls.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Experience working with multiple policies, agreements, and employment frameworks across Europe.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
