With HQ in the UK and a growing North American presence, there's never been a better time to join our journey!⚖️ The RoleWe're looking for an experienced and commercially-minded Solicitor (Legal Counsel) to join our dynamic in-house legal team. This is a high-profile role with exposure to a wide variety of legal matters across our international SaaS business.You'll be the go-to expert for commercial contracts, compliance, corporate activities, and more - helping IRIS grow while managing legal risk effectively.🔑 What you'll do:✨ Draft, review & negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (SaaS, IT, consultancy, marketing, NDAs, MSAs).✨ Support business development, promotions & advertising campaigns.✨ Advise on compliance (UK GDPR, financial legislation, data protection, governance).✨ Partner with HR, product, compliance & executive teams to guide on risk.✨ Manage pre-litigation disputes & liaise with external counsel.✨ Deliver training across the business on legal & compliance matters.🎓 What we're looking for:✔️ UK-qualified Solicitor (valid practising certificate).✔️ 3-5 years PQE (flexible depending on relevant experience).✔️ Strong experience drafting & negotiating commercial contracts.✔️ Knowledge of data protection, commercial & contract law.✔️ Pragmatic, proactive, and solutions-focused.✔️ Excellent communicator & relationship-builder.💡 Bonus points if you have:
SaaS / fintech / tech sector experience.
Knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, payroll or financial services frameworks.
Exposure to disputes, M&A, or advising professional services clients.
