We are actively looking to engage Graduates (who have a 2:1 degree) with a passion for the sales area of the logistics & shipping sector for our Leicester office!As a Graduate Sales Account Manager you will be joining a team of Logistics Account Managers, reporting into the Freight Sales Manager. You will be responsible for the following areas in the Leicester office:
  • Generating new and existing sales across a broad import, export and freight customer worldwide market.
  • Sourcing and creating your own business leads and act on those provided by Sales and Operations Colleagues as well as using other tools given.
  • To act as the primary point of contact for quotations and enquiries for ad-hoc business.
  • To identify sales opportunities. Profiling all new business to understand intricately how we can support with freight / customs.
  • To generate new sales, linked directly to the current business plan. Focus and drive to achieve targets.
  • Use the CRM system to effectively record, manage and develop opportunities
  • Providing high levels of account management and customer service.

  • A Degree (2:1 minimum) - of any categorisation
  • Work experience around either the customer service, sales, commercial or logistics & supply chain sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • A flair for providing high levels of engagement and customer contact to high-value accounts
  • The ability to commute to Leicester on a daily basis

My client focuses on searching air freight, sea freight & road freight solutions, which are both cost effective & time sensitive.
  • £32,000-£40,000 - Basic Salary
