English and Maths TutorSalary: £25 - £35 Per hourJob Duties:
  • Provide tutoring in English and Maths subjects to students.
  • Create lesson plans and educational materials tailored to individual student needs.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Encourage student engagement and participation in learning activities.
  • Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and goals.
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in English and Maths subjects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
Education:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Experience:
  • At least 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience in English and Maths.
  • Experience working with students of various ages and learning abilities.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Deep understanding of the national curriculum for English and Maths.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Education or related field.
  • Additional teaching certifications or specialisations in English and Maths.
Working Conditions:
  • Part-time hours, flexible schedule.
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension.
  • Work may involve travel to student homes or educational institutions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
