- Maintain and enhance key strategic broker relationships across Munich Re Specialty - Global Markets, specifically MRSI UK within the UK Regional Market.
- Formalise a challenging but realistic growth strategy with key partners.
- Support the Head of Strategic Relationships with the management and administration of broker relationships, deals and agreements as designated.
- Act as key point of contact for colleagues of Munich Re Specialty - Global Markets, specifically MRSI UK into specific strategic brokers, becoming the focal point for query resolution.
- Provide clear and relevant presentations to key internal and external stakeholders as and when required.
- Explore and consider alternative strategic relationships within the UK Regional Market that will enhance profitable growth for Munich Re Specialty - Global Markets, specifically MRSI UK.
- Support underwriters in achieving growth objectives by providing sales and development support.
- Develop strong relationships with Munich Re Specialty - Global Markets, specifically MRSI UK & MRSG colleagues across a range of functions including but not limited to underwriting, underwriting management and finance.
- Utilising CRM capabilities and working alongside colleagues from a range of functions, you will monitor key broker performance metrics beyond income generation, looking to enhance or remediate where appropriate.
- Effectively generate and support cross-selling opportunities between product lines.
- Articulate UK Regional Market broker information to the global distribution team of MRSG whilst also promoting global MRSG capabilities to broking partners, making introductions and connections where relevant.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of insurance, competitor and industry activity and provide market feedback.
- Work within the framework of Munich Re ethical and service standards.
- Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholders.
- Knowledge and experience of working in the Lloyd's and company insurance markets.
- Industry knowledge of marine and specialty markets.
- Understanding of basic underwriting principles across marine and specialty markets.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a pragmatic and clear approach.
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to take multiple stakeholders into consideration.
- Understanding of business planning and regulatory issues relevant to the London insurance market.
- Strong data analytics and ability to understand fundamental performance metrics.
- Experience of preparing and conducting presentations to a range of stakeholders including C-Suite
- Track record of strong broker relationship management.
- In depth knowledge of the UK Regional Market broking environment.
