Fleet Vehicle Technician Required in Wimbledon!
  • Basic Salary: £35,000 - £42,000
  • Hours: 9am - 6pm, Monday - Friday - Weekends on a rota
Are you ready to be part of an exciting new project? A brand-new Fleet Workshop is opening in Wimbledon, and we are looking for an experienced Fleet Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape and build a workshop from the ground up, offering your expertise and insight as a Senior Technician.What's on offer in this Vehicle Technician role?

As the Fleet Vehicle Technician, your role will focus on servicing and preventative maintenance, primarily on vans and light commercial vehicles. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and maintaining fleet vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring they are kept roadworthy and operational for our clients customers.In this new workshop environment, you'll work closely with management to set up the best tools and processes, helping to create an efficient, well-organised workspace.Key responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Routine servicing and maintenance of vans and light commercial vehicles.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs.
  • Working with management to select workshop tooling and diagnostic equipment.
  • Implementing a smooth workflow to maintain high productivity.
What our client is looking for:
  • Level 3 City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong diagnostic skills with experience working on vans or light commercial vehicles.
  • A full, valid UK driving licence.
  • Own tools
  • A proactive team player who is eager to contribute to the success of a new workshop.
