We're recruiting for an EC&I Technician to join the team at a modern Energy from Waste power station in North London.This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established energy services provider, where you'll take responsibility for maintaining and optimising critical C&I systems across the plant.✅ What you'll be doing:Carrying out electrical, control & instrumentation maintenance across the site.Leading on fault-finding, testing, and system implementation (including SCADA).Supporting plant safety schemes, including incident investigations and near-miss reporting.Ensuring compliance of all C&I assets with HSEQ standards.Assisting with planned and unplanned outages.Developing and updating engineering procedures, instructions, and method statements.What we're looking for:Experience in Energy from Waste or power generation (advantageous but not essential).Candidates from heavy industrial/process backgrounds (petrochemical, oil & gas, offshore, anaerobic digestion) will also be considered.Royal Navy engineers with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.Recognised EC&I apprenticeship or ONC/HNC in Electrical, Controls, or Instrumentation.Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive approach.What's in it for you:Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 (DOE)Shift-based role offering variety and stabilityComprehensive training & development opportunitiesClear career progression within a growing energy businessBe part of a modern EfW power station with long-term career prospectsApply now with your CV or call Ashley on 01329 221 399 for more information.Not for you?
