Pay Rate: £83 – £95 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-timeAre you committed to making a positive difference in the learning journey of young students?GSL Education are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to work in schools in the Thurnscoe area. As a TA, this role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about education and enjoy working closely with children and young people to support their learning and development.Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
  • Supporting students with their learning under the guidance of the class teacher.
  • Providing one-to-one or small group interventions as needed.
  • Helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support.
  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) when required.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
  • Previous experience working in a school or with children/young people is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A patient, positive, and proactive approach to learning support.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
  • A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
