This is a full-time, long-term role supporting pupils with complex SEND needs including autism, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), and communication differences.The setting is structured, supportive, and calm, with a nurturing ethos that puts each child first. - Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with high SEND needs
- Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies
- Helping pupils access learning in their own way, at their own pace
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and families
- Experience in a SEND setting, PRU, or high-needs classroom
- Confidence supporting children with ASD, SEMH or non-verbal communication
- A calm, consistent, and caring approach, even when it’s tough
