  • Basic Salary - Up to £40,000 + OT paid at 1.5 time

Our Client, a family run independent Classic Car Accident Repair & Restoration Specialist are seeking a Classic Car Service Technician to join their productive team.This a great opportunity to join a thriving family run business that's been established for nearly 50 years. Our Client offers a fully equipped workshop with regular updating of equipment.Our Client has undertaken countless antique / vintage car restoration and refurbishment projects in the past, and as classic automotive restorers fully restore: bumpers, panels, hoods, dash/ trim interiors and chrome and carry out car body repairs. They undertake all repairs from a blown light bulb, full service, MOT work, up to a full bare metal restoration & Race-day preparation.This role gives any applicant an opportunity to work with some of the most unique vehicles in the world, from Ford Capri's to Ferrari Spiders, Austin 10's, Alvis & Elvas. Duties of a Classic Car Service Technician with our Client
  • Mechanical repair and restoration work of highly specialist classic cars
  • Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard of quality
  • Achieving an ongoing high rate of productivity.
  • Providing timely information and updates to team members, colleagues.
  • Prioritising work to ensure efficient through flow of work through the workshop
  • Following safety procedures
What our Client expects of their Classic Car Service Technicians
  • Preferably but not essential to have a background as a Classic Car Technician or eager to transfer to this line of work
  • Ability to complete or willingness to learn complex vehicle servicing with work including clutches, cambelts, gearboxes and engine rebuilds
  • Ensuring workspaces are kept organised, clean and tidy
  • Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
  • NVQ Level 3 highly preferred
  • You must also have your own equipment
