I'm working in partnership with a well-established and highly respected construction consultancy, who are looking to appoint a Managing Director (Quantity Surveying) to lead and grow their London office. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to take a strategic leadership role within a thriving, independent firm.The Role:
As Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading the London office's cost management/quantity surveying function, driving business development, overseeing key client relationships, and leading a high-performing team of surveyors. You'll play a crucial role in the future growth of the business, particularly within the residential and prime residential sectors, though wider sector experience is also valued.Key Responsibilities:Lead and grow the London-based quantity surveying teamWin and develop new business, with a strong focus on the residential and high-end residential (prime resi) marketsOversee major client accounts and ensure excellence in project deliveryShape the strategic direction of the London office in line with wider company goalsMentor and develop internal talent and contribute to a collaborative company cultureRepresent the business at industry events and within key professional networksRequirements:Strong background in Quantity Surveying / Cost ManagementProven leadership experience at senior level within a consultancy environmentEstablished client network and strong business development track recordMRICS or similar professional qualification preferredCommercially astute, with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAmbitious, driven and entrepreneurial mindsetWhat's on Offer:Highly competitive salary and bonus structurePotential equity for the right candidateSignificant autonomy and the opportunity to shape the growth of the businessA supportive, forward-thinking leadership teamHigh-quality project portfolio with a focus on prestigious developmentsInterested?
