Job DescriptionOverhead Crane Operator - Immediate Start - Hereford, Paying £14.87 per hour (£13.17ph + £290 monthly shift allowance) + Overtime + Excellent Benefits, Monday to Friday, 3 rotating shifts, free on site parking.Our client, a world-leading manufacturer in Hereford, is seeking skilled Overhead Crane Operators with recent experience and a valid licence/certification. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with high earning potential, full training, and real career progression. Permanent contracts are available for the right candidates following a successful 12-week temporary period.The Job:
  • Safely operate overhead cranes to move, lift, and position heavy materials
  • Assist production with loading/unloading tasks and material handling
  • Carry out daily equipment checks and maintain safe working practices
  • Support with machine operations, quality inspections, and general production tasks
  • Work collaboratively in a safety-first, team-focused environment
What You Need:
  • Valid Overhead Crane licence/certificate (dated within last 3 years) - essential
  • Previous experience in crane operation or heavy industrial environments
  • Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
  • Good communication, reliability, and adaptability
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts
  • Ability to pass drug & alcohol testing
Shifts (weekly rotation):
  • Monday to Friday
  • Days: 06:00-14:00
  • Afternoons: 14:00-22:00
  • Nights: 22:00-06:00
Pay & Perks:
  • £14.87 per hour (including £290 monthly shift allowance)
