The Teaching Assistant will support teachers in the planning, delivery, and assessment of learning activities for primary-aged pupils. Working closely with the class teacher and other staff, the successful candidate will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that enables all children to thrive academically and socially.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with delivering lessons and supporting pupils both individually and in small groups
- Help prepare learning resources and support classroom management, including behaviour support
- Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress
- Carry out administrative duties such as photocopying and filing
- Adapt flexibly to meet the varied needs of the school community
- Experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred, but graduates with a passion for education are also welcome
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
