- Work closely with Senior Rural Advisers and the Rural Team to address the unique tax needs of rural businesses, ensuring compliance deadlines are met.
- Review and oversee the preparation of tax returns and accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Support advisers by preparing tax-related reports, accounts, and non-compliance work to enhance client service.
- Proactively identify opportunities to add value to rural clients, offering practical tax and accountancy solutions.
- Collaborate with the dedicated Tax Team and other specialists across the business to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, providing trusted guidance across tax and broader accountancy matters.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a UK accountancy practice.
- Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns for rural businesses (e.g. farms, estates, agricultural enterprises).
- Strong technical grounding in both accounts and tax compliance, with the ability to provide tailored advice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build trusted client relationships.
