Why not join us as a Facilities Technician?This is a full time role, working 37 hours per week.You will work a variety of shifts, between the hours of 7.30am and 9.30pm, with occasional working until 10.00pm required. This role could be based at any of our campuses in Weston-super-Mare.Due to the shift work nature of this role, you will receive a shift allowance of £1,000 per annum.This role involves a high level of physical activity, and some working outdoors.Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.Day to day duties of the role
  • To be a focal point and point of call for customer (student) support.
  • To support the safety and security of the College premises, vehicles and contents thereof.
  • As instructed, to ensure that the premises are properly maintained, and all lighting and heating systems and equipment are functioning. To undertake minor repairs and decorations as requested.
  • To report any Health and Safety hazards or maintenance/minor works to the Line Manager.
Required skills and qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Full driving licence is required as you will be required to travel between campuses.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
