This is an exciting and unique two-phase position supporting the implementation and ongoing delivery of Epic EPR training across the One Devon collaboration.Phase 1 (Implementation Phase - Months 1-5):You will work as part of the One Devon EPR Programme team, delivering training across all three partner organisations (Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, and University Hospitals Plymouth) whilst maintaining your base in Torbay. During this phase, you will focus on supporting the system go-live across Devon.Phase 2 (Business as Usual - Month 6 onwards):Following successful implementation, you will transfer to the Digital Learning and Education Team within Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, where you will provide ongoing Epic EPR training support as part of the permanent training infrastructure. This represents the long-term sustainable model for Epic training delivery within Torbay.You will work closely with clinical, operational, and administrative colleagues from across the partner organisations as part of the One Devon Implementation Team, ensuring Epic is implemented to deliver care in both a clinically and financially sustainable way throughout Devon.Main duties of the jobThe Trainers will work with Principal Trainers and the wider training team to learn and deliver comprehensive Epic training programmes and assist in the development of a full range of training materials including tip sheets, quick start guides, e-learning modules, video tutorials, and other educational resources to support effective system adoption.Phase 1 Specific Duties:Support Epic implementation across all three One Devon partner organisationsSupport a One Devon approach to training delivery whilst maintaining Torbay baseParticipate in go-live activities and immediate post-implementation supportOngoing Duties (Both Phases):Deliver training and eLearning support on a one-to-one basis or in larger group environments, using blended learning approaches wherever possibleAttend appropriate training sessions with Principal Trainers to understand and learn Epic system functionality and optimal training delivery methodsUndertake the Epic process to assess readiness for training deliveryWork as part of the training team and wider EPR team, actively participating in team meetingsAbout usWhy Work With UsYou will initially join the One Devon EPR Programme team, working alongside trainers from across the three partner organisations.   • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience and hold a professional qualification in a relevant field e.g. Learning & Development
  • IT Certificate in one of the following: ECDL, CLAIT, BTEC, IBT, GCSE or A level or other recognized IT qualification.
  • Teaching Certificate in one of the following: Cert Ed (Diploma), Post Graduate Certificate Education, C&G 7407, C&G CTLLS 6304, C&G DTLLS 6305 or equivalent
Desirable
  • Current registration with a Professional Body i.e. NMC, HCPC, GPhC etc
Knowledge and ExperienceEssential
  • Formal or small group learning delivery or facilitation skills
  • Delivery of training one to one and or large groups
  • Working with staff from multidisciplinary staff groups
  • Experience of training adults with mixed abilities
  • Course/student assessment and evaluation
  • Experience in delivering virtual classroom lessons
Desirable
  • oKnowledge and experience of NHS systems
