This is an exciting chance to become a vital part of a forward-thinking department, working with students who are eager to engage in a wide range of sports and physical activities.The Opportunity: What You'll Be Doing
  • Delivering Engaging Content: You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, engaging PE lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), following the UK curriculum.
  • Fostering Teamwork and Skill: Guide students in developing their physical skills, understanding of sports, and appreciation for teamwork and fair play in a supportive environment.
  • Collaborating with Your Team: Work closely with a skilled and supportive team of professionals, sharing best practices and contributing to the success of the department.
  • Full Teaching Responsibilities: Your role will include lesson planning, marking, student assessment, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Upholding School Standards: Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and student welfare.
The Ideal Candidate: Who We're Looking For
  • You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in PE, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • You have proven experience teaching the PE UK curriculum at the secondary level.
  • You possess excellent classroom and field management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • You are adaptable, reliable, and have strong communication skills.
  • You have a passion for physical education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
