  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the KS2 National Curriculum, with a focus on Year 6 SATs preparation
  • Foster a positive learning environment that promotes resilience, independence, and confidence
  • Use a range of formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and inform planning
  • Provide targeted support and differentiation to meet the needs of all learners
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support both academic and emotional development
  • Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities, school events, and transition support
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6 (desirable but not essential)
  • Be a reflective, organised, and motivated practitioner with excellent classroom management
  • Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive practice, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing
  • Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and teamworking skills
  • Be enthusiastic about professional growth, collaborative planning, and curriculum innovation
