Job Description:Job Title: Site Project EngineerLocation: Crick, NorthamptonshireWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On-Site)Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceContract Type: Full-Time, PermanentJoin Us and Help Drive Engineering Excellence On-SiteWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Project Engineer to lead and support a range of capital and improvement projects at our Crick site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about project delivery, safety, and quality to play a pivotal role in managing minor capital projects and supporting larger-scale site developments.What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Manage and deliver minor engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are safe, on time, and on budget.
  • Act as Site Host for contractors in line with the IPN Contractor Management Policy.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution, including Health & Safety, Quality, Procurement, and Finance.
  • Ensure integration of project outputs into the site’s Quality Management System and adherence to Food Safety standards.
  • Define project scopes, timelines, costs, and resources, maintaining accurate documentation throughout.
  • Support major site projects by offering local insight and project execution assistance.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor standards, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering (e.g., BEng).
  • Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices; CDM Regulation knowledge is a plus.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to engage and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience managing contractor activities and small project budgets (£25,000–£150,000).
Desirable Qualifications:
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project management training.
  • Familiarity with food safety or manufacturing environments.
