Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with knowledge of cranes, heavy machinery, and PLC-controlled equipment? If so, this could be the role for you.We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical qualification (ideally Level 3) to join our team. This is a 100% hands-on role, where you will play a key part in maintaining site machinery, ensuring safety standards, and driving improvements in reliability and efficiency.Working Hours & PayMonday to Friday: 08:00 – 16:3039 paid hours per week (½ hour break deducted)Overtime required on Saturdays during plant outages (typically alternate weekends, 5–6 hours)Overtime rates: 1.2x Mon–Fri / 1.5x Sat / 2x SunSalary: £38,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)Key ResponsibilitiesPlanned preventative maintenance across all plant and equipment (mechanical & electrical).Rapid response to breakdowns and effective troubleshooting.Driving improvements to processes and equipment efficiency.Daily use of CMMS (maintenance management systems).Equipment inspection and testing for safe operation.Supervising contractors/visitors as required.Supporting production and other site functions.Participation in an out-of-hours rota (evenings and weekends).Skills & Experience RequiredMulti-skilled background with a recognised electrical qualification (Level 3 ideal).Strong experience in electrical and mechanical engineering.Skilled in electrical installations, motors, drives, inverter systems, and electrical schematics.Knowledge of PLC systems (basic).Comfortable working at heights and using MEWPs.Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems and complex fault-finding. <
