Therefore, the appointable candidate will need to be eligible to work in the UK or have leave to remain in the UK and associated right to work for the duration of their employment with the University, in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.Full-Time, Fixed-TermApplications are invited for the post of Postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Health StudiesBAC4RumA “Bacteriocin-rich extract from engineered lactic acid bacteria as an antibiotic alternative for therapeutic and prophylactic use in ruminants and aquaculture” is looking to appoint a research assistant for one year with potential extension to the end of the project in November 2026. BAC4RumA is IDRC funded project looking for alternatives to Antibiotics for cattle and farmed tilapia in Nigeria. The post holder will be responsible for field data collection in Nigeria, data analysis and writing academic reports/articles for the project outcomes. The post holder will be mainly responsible for the work related to ruminants.The post holders will work directly with Dr Mahmoud Eltholth and consortium collaborators in the UK, Spain, and Nigeria.
