- Be a focal point and leadership figure.
- Contribute to the strategic plan, growth and development for the business in the region.
- Assisting with the development of new and repeat business.
- Support the regional lead in the day-to-day running of the business.
- Providing guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise to team members.
- Mentoring and training junior building surveyors, as well as an active participation in the APC programme.
- Work across a number of projects in different sectors, managing and providing a range of building surveying duties.
- Provide internal and external project management duties.
- Managing client relationships, service delivery and development of bids and winning propositions.
- Acting as the primary interface with key clients and ensure the quality and timeliness of service delivery to those clients.
- BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying RICS Accredited Degree.
- Full member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
- Ability to demonstrate good all-round surveying experience and be client facing with work winning skills.
- Good team working skills and ability to communicate well at all levels
- Prepared to travel as required.
- To liaise with senior colleagues to help build a profitable service and positive, high performing team environment.
- Strong IT skills, Word and Excel as a minimum. Candidates should be able to produce, edit and format documents.
- Ideally AutoCAD skills and full understand of Health and Safety requirements.
- Keeping abreast of industry issues and developments in best practice.
- Proven track record in the successfully delivery of building surveying services.
