Job descriptionPsychology Graduate TA – Oldham:Prospero Teaching are currently seeking recent psychology graduates to join a lovely SEN provision in the Oldham area from September. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are looking to pursue a career within the education sector.We have both long term and day to day cover roles available.The Role:
  • Creating a safe environment which allows children to have fun, learn and succeed
  • Providing personal care
  • Regularly communicating with class teachers and other staff members to monitor progress
Position Details:
  • Location: Oldham
  • Position: Psych Grad Teaching Assistant
  • Type of Work: Temporary – Long Term and Day to Day Cover Available
  • Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £100 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: September 2025
  • End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
  • A recent graduate who is looking for experience in SEN
  • Psychology Degree
  • Experience supporting SEN/Complex Needs
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
