- Manage the Sales and Distribution team to optimize profitable revenue growth
- Work with your team to ensure strong multi-tiered relationships with distribution partners
- Act as the primary day-to-day Director-level contact with key accounts to secure and implement primary product placement initiatives on each distributor, including but not limited to product rollout, merchandising and marketing Initiatives
- Drive profitable revenue production, ensuring the distributors load, promote, and sell products consistent with the company’s overall sales strategy
- Contribute to the development of our online distribution strategy, focused on a return-on-investment approach to reach the distribution revenue objectives
- Demonstrate a strong external focus, including tourism industry involvement, to ensure that City Wonders maintains and grows its leadership position
- Gather and share marketplace intelligence and distributor feedback with key internal stakeholders to improve our products and positioning
- Develop and maintain knowledge of our products, services, and brand, to ensure distributors are kept up to date with the latest information on itinerary, content, selling points, and pricing
- Analyze sales data to conduct periodic business reviews with distributors
- Work closely with Destination Management (Product Development) and Revenue Management teams to continuously optimize product presence and pricing through distribution partners
- Continuously review performance metrics to spot issues and trends, then make relevant recommendations
- Work with other company teams to take advantage of revenue opportunities and quickly resolve issues.
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience required with a primary focus on profitable revenue growth
- 3+ years of managing a team to deliver strong and consistent results
- Online travel distribution or OTA experience a plus
- Experience strategy for a global customer base is a plus, particularly for EMEA and US originations
- Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office 365 applications, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Positive “can do” attitude with strong emotional intelligence (EQ) skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Solid presentation, persuasion, sales, and relationship building skills; strong distributor and internal stakeholder relationships will be key for success in this role
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Analytical with proven track record for delivering results
- Flexibility to travel
- Bachelor’s degree in tourism related field or business
- Must have already established the legal right to work in the EU or UK prior to applying
