ob Role: Audit ClerkMPA are excited to some fantastic opportunities in the admin and clerical sector as they continue working alongside their large public sector client in the Belfast area to recruit for an Audit Clerk.To assist with the dissemination & collation of clinical audit data to and from clinicians and managers. To assist with maintaining the audit database, collate and enter data onto the database as part of the clinical audit activity. Complete and submit activity reports on the MEDICUS system (RICU auditing tool) ensuring accuracy.Location - BelfastHours of Work - 37.5 hrs (Mon-Fri)Salary - £12.31Contract - OngoingWhat the role entails:· Daily data collection and recording of patient information for ICNARC (Intensive care National Audit Research Centre) and critical care audit.· To assist in the rigorous data validation process, ensuring the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of ICNARC reports.· Use of existing clinical information systems and hospital patient information systems to obtain and validate patient related physiological data and information on patient outcomes.· Undertake clinical coding for Case Mix Programme (adhering to ICNARC Case Mix Programme definitions). Generate monthly/quarterly quality reports issued by ICNARC.· Verify information from LABS with Infection Nurse/Anaesthetic Consultants for HAI (Healthcare Associated Infection) and input daily activity, compile monthly reports and submit to Public Health Agency.· Upload ICNARC Case Mix Programme data submission and updates directly into ICNARC's Platform X portal.Download and complete all relevant Data Validation Reports in a timely manner.· Complete NISTAR (Northern Ireland Specialist transport and retrieval) Outcome data and validate reports from the Trust's Information Department.· Prepare and validate statistical information as required by Anaesthetic Consultants and members of the multi-disciplinary team and participate in audits undertaken by medical staff for research purposes.· Provide administrative support to Ward/Deputy Ward Manager.· Undertake additional training, attend National Critical Care Audit meetings as required and undertake any other duties consistent with the day to day running of the Intensive Care Unit.· Use various hospital systems to retrieve necessary details to include Labs EPIC, ECR,· Cross cover may be required for at times for colleagues.· Maintain confidentiality.Essential Criteria:HNC / HND or equivalent higher qualification in an administrative related field and 2 years administrative experience to include working with hospital computerised systems.OR4 GCSE; s at grade A-C including English language or equivalent and 3 years administrative experience to include working with hospital computerised systems.OR5 years administrative experience to include working with hospital computerised systems.PLUSIn addition to above applicants must possess OCR Text Processing (Business professionals) Level 2 Award or RSA Stage II Typing/Word Processing (both parts) or equivalent or One year'sCandidates must also demonstrate:Spreadsheets, working with data collation and producing reports.The ability to:· Perform under pressure, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail· Work under own initiative and to deadlines, prioritises own work with little supervision, with a substantial degree of accountability.· Apply tact and diplomacy· Understand patient confidentiality· Work as part of a team· Knowledge of computerised systems· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages· Knowledge of developments in HPSS· Knowledge of schedules and information systems relevant to the roleJob Type: Full-timePay: £12.31 per hourSchedule:
