Performativ is building the next-generation wealth management platform and we’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help extend our SaaS platform and embed it into the complex environments of our enterprise clients while maintaining that SaaS modularity.As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will work hands-on with our engineering leadership to deliver robust integrations and core platform services. You’ll help shape the architecture, drive technical decisions, and have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role as we scale over the next 12–24 months.What you’ll do 📈
  • Design and build backend services and APIs that power Performativ’s platform.
  • Deliver integrations with client systems using best-practice standards (REST, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, webhooks, event-driven).
  • Develop reliable data flows (ETL pipelines, async messaging, event-driven processing) between Performativ and external systems.
  • Shape API and integration approaches into reusable platform capabilities.
  • Ensure everything you build is secure, observable, and continuously delivered with strong automated testing.
  • Tackle tough engineering challenges with a problem-solver’s mindset.
What we’re looking for 🎯
  • Strong backend/API engineering skills (some of: PHP/Laravel, Golang, Python, TypeScript).
  • Deep knowledge of API best practices, web standards, and integration patterns.
  • Experience building integrations between SaaS platforms and enterprise systems.
  • AWS/cloud-native engineering experience (containers, IaC/CDK, CI/CD, observability).
  • Pragmatic approach to building for simplicity, reliability, and continuous delivery.
  • Problem-solver who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
  • Strong communicator: comfortable collaborating with engineers, product teams, and client tech stakeholders.
  • Domain knowledge of trading, financial markets, or investment products is a plus.
  • Ambition to grow into platform architecture and technical leadership within 12–24 months.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within northern/central Europe.
