- The role will require the engineer to conduct himself in a safe and professional manner in occupied premises with good communication skills to ensure works are delivered to the customer and employers' satisfaction.
- Experience and knowledge of Fire & Security systems is beneficial, and a desire to learn new technical skills with a dynamic approach is key.
- Ensure good timekeeping and housekeeping.
- 17 /18TH Edition qualified electrician
- Professional, presentable appearance.

- PC literate and comfortable with Microsoft Office Applications
- Installation of Fire & Security equipment and associated cabling, and containment to the relevant British Standard and compliant with governing authorities
- Installation of fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with BS5839pt1 2017 and BRE /LPS1014 installation rules.
- Ownership and accountability to deliver projects from start through to handover. Manage resource, materials, and plant effectively Upkeep and on time delivery of documentation.
- Actively look for improvements and enhancements to provide best customer delivery and ultimately increase EMCOR's scope through instructed variations.
- Provide weekly progress reports to Line Manager, as and when required.
- Attend toolbox talks when required
- Attend training courses that EMCOR deem necessary
- Ensure tasks are delivered in line with contractual requirements.
- Maintain a strong working relationship & good communication between the client and EMCOR at all times.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and standards are in place and adhered to in order to maintain integrity of the contract.
- Comply with EMCOR Safe Working Procedures and set examples of a positive Health & Safety culture.
- Completion of mandatory paperwork, for weekly/monthly activities ensuring they are delivered before deadline.
- Be prepared to work outside of normal working hours for durations as required where site restrictions apply.
- All works to be completed in accordance with the relevant British Standard and good working practices.
- Completion of documentation required under LPS 1014 and NSI Gold accreditations
- Proven experience within a similar role or environment.
- Educated to GCSE level with City & Guilds or equivalent in installation of electronic equipment.
- City and Guilds 236 pts 1&2 electrical installation or equivalent.
- 17th/18th Edition Electrical qualification
- Proven experience on working in industrial environments
- Valid full driving licence, preferably clean.
- A team player with the ability to work from their own initiative.
- Prepared to work additional hours if and when reasonably requested
- Proven knowledge on relevant Fire standards BS 5839 Pt 1 - 2017, BS 6266 Pt 1 - 2013, BS 7273 Standards. Trained to FIA standards Units 1 (Fire Detection Design), Unit 4 (Installation and Testing)
