Due to ongoing growth and exciting project wins across London, we are now seeking an ambitious Fire and Security Service Engineer to join their expanding team.This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who wants to develop their skills, work on a diverse range of projects, and enjoy excellent earning potential with a highly respected employer.What's in it for you?Competitive Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 basic, depending on experience and qualifications.Company Vehicle Provided: Fully equipped van with fuel card-travel easily to and from sites.Door-to-Door Pay: Get rewarded for your full working day, from the moment you leave home.Overtime Available: Additional earnings available with overtime rates paid above your standard rate.Development & Progression: Opportunities for further training, upskilling, and career advancement.Modern Tools & Equipment: Work with the latest fire and security technology, staying ahead in the industry.Supportive Environment: Join a friendly, professional team that values your expertise and commitment.Key Responsibilities:Installation, Service & Maintenance: Work on a variety of systems, including:Fire Alarms (conventional & addressable)CCTV Systems (IP & analogue)Intruder AlarmsAccess Control SystemsFault Finding & Repairs: Identify and resolve system faults quickly and efficiently.Customer Interaction: Represent the business with professionalism, providing clear updates to customers and building long-term relationships.Compliance: Ensure all work complies with current standards, industry best practices, and health & safety regulations.Documentation & Reporting: Complete service reports, risk assessments, and other necessary documentation accurately and promptly.What We're Looking For:Experience: A proven background in fire and security installation, servicing, and maintenance.Technical Skills: Strong fault-finding ability and familiarity with leading fire & security brands.Certifications (preferred but not essential): FIA Units, NSI, ECS Card, or equivalent.Driving License: Full UK driving license essential.Professionalism: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Initiative: Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload effectively.Team Player: Able to collaborate with colleagues and work independently when required.Knowledge of Regulations: Good understanding of BS5839, BS7671, NSI, and other relevant standards.Location Coverage:
You will primarily cover London and surrounding areas, with occasional travel as required.
