- To provide efficient and accurate checking of manufactured product, and ensuring conformity to customer drawing and specification.
- To dimensionally inspect manufactured and purchased product, using a variety of metrology equipment, using Engineering Drawings and Inspection Control Plans, electronically recording and storing the results of those inspections.
- To conform to Standard Operating Procedures for the correct use of metrology equipment, and to periodically submit to examination for establishing gauge R&R (Repeatability & Reproducibility).
- To assist in the electronic preparation of Inspection Control Plans and appropriate delegated FAIR documents.
- To move work within the department and interdepartmentally in a timely fashion, against instructed business priorities.
- To report non-conforming product to supervision and Team Leaders, to provide information applicable to rectify and to assist in the rapid resolution of non-conformances.
- Be an interactive team player, promoting and being part of continual improvement, departmental multi-skilling and training in order to achieve world class standards.
