iSource Group is a leading logistics and transportation recruiter based in the UK.We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our growing team.
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations within the UK. This role requires a high level of professionalism, as you will be representing our company to our clients and customers.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle to ensure safety and report any issues to management- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any incidents that occur on the road- Communicate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude while interacting with clients and customers- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and vehicle maintenance guidelinesRequirements:- Valid Class 1 driver's license - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Class 1 Driver- Clean driving record with no major violations- Strong knowledge of UK roadways and traffic laws- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights, as needed- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Must pass a background check and drug screeningBenefits:- Competitive salary- Full-time, permanent position with potential for growth within the company- Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plans- Ongoing training and development opportunities - Supportive and collaborative work environmentIf you are a dedicated and skilled Class 1 Driver looking to join a dynamic and growing company, we encourage you to apply for this position.
