As a Social Housing Property Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of social housing properties across East Yorkshire. Working closely with residents, contractors, and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our housing refurbishments, maintaining high standards of property management, and delivering excellent customer service to our tenants.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of social housing properties, including maintenance, repairs, and compliance works.
  • Manage surveyors to conduct regular property inspections to assess condition, identify maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests, providing effective communication and resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers to schedule and oversee maintenance and repair works, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on property performance, maintenance activities, and tenant satisfaction levels, highlighting areas for improvement and best practices.
  • Ensure safety and high performance of contractors carrying out planned, responsive and compliance upgrades.
Home & Flexible Working|Key Leadership Role
  • Previous experience in property management, preferably within the social housing sector.
  • Knowledge of relevant housing legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
