- Oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of social housing properties, including maintenance, repairs, and compliance works.
- Manage surveyors to conduct regular property inspections to assess condition, identify maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests, providing effective communication and resolution of issues.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers to schedule and oversee maintenance and repair works, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
- Prepare regular reports on property performance, maintenance activities, and tenant satisfaction levels, highlighting areas for improvement and best practices.
- Ensure safety and high performance of contractors carrying out planned, responsive and compliance upgrades.
- Previous experience in property management, preferably within the social housing sector.
- Knowledge of relevant housing legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
