Our commitment to quality, collaboration, and technical excellence ensures the successful delivery of projects across the UK and Europe.The Procurement Specialist – Professional Services, will support the development of strategic initiatives pertaining to the BakerHicks professional services supply chain.The OpportunityAs a Procurement Specialist will provide support to all departments and projects requiring professional services appointments during both the work-winning and project delivery phases. You will have had previous experience in a procurement/supply chain role as a member of a project delivery team within an engineering/construction environment.You will support the Supply Chain Manager in the development of strategic agreements to support the business’ needs.About You
  • Administer the procurement of subconsultant professional services appointments for the company’s projects
  • Support the legal team to amend / review contract terms and step-down main contract obligations to the supply chain
  • Administer the company’s prequalification system including the management of assessments in collaboration with the respective departments
  • Good knowledge of all commonly used model forms of contract for UK professional services, specifically the NEC suite, with additional knowledge of IChemE contracts desirable
  • High level of proficiency in the use of general Microsoft Office software i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
  • Chartered Membership of CIPS (MCIPS) with relevant experience
