This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.The RoleWe are looking for a motivated English Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4. In this temporary role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons, monitoring student progress, and contributing to the wider school community. This role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, and deliver English lessons tailored to a range of student abilitiesMonitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and targeted supportContribute to the ongoing development of the English curriculumMaintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and mutual respectCollaborate with staff, parents, and guardians to support student success and wellbeingMinimum RequirementsTo be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:Experience:At least 1–2 years of experience teaching English in a secondary schoolQualifications:A degree in English or a related subject and UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Training:Experience in classroom management, differentiation, and safeguarding practicesSkills:Strong communication, organisation, and the ability to inspire and motivate learnersBackground ChecksAll applicants must undergo an enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce) prior to starting, unless already registered on the update service. The cost of a DBS may be passed to the applicant.
