Location - NewcastleKey Responsibilities • Design and maintain data models and transformation pipelines that integrate data from multiple business systems.
- Develop dimensional schemas to support consistent and reliable reporting and analytics.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a trusted source of data that supports consistent and reliable business insights across teams.
- Ensure data processes are automated, scalable, and aligned with business timelines.
- Support the integration of AI and machine learning capabilities into data workflows to enhance analytics and operational processes.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for data models, KPIs, and business logic.
- Troubleshoot data issues and ensure high data quality and integrity across systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Operate within agile or iterative delivery frameworks and communicate effectively across teams and functions.
- Strong proficiency in data transformation and modelling techniques using tools such as Snowflake, dbt, and SQL.
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Microsoft Fabric), including semantic modelling.
- Familiarity with version control and collaborative development workflows (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
- Understanding of workflow automation and low-code platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience with cloud-based data integration and orchestration tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
- Exposure to AI and machine learning integration in analytics workflows (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI assistants).
- Knowledge of metadata and data governance practices using tools such as Collibra.
- Familiarity with marketing technologies (e.g., Eloqua, Google Analytics) and understanding of marketing performance metrics and KPIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- 3+ years of experience in data modelling, data engineering, or a related analytical role.
