Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver advisory projects for life insurance clients
  • Manage project teams and oversee all aspects of delivery
  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients and build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Provide subject matter expertise across technical and commercial areas
  • Support business development, including proposals and thought leadership
  • Coach and mentor junior consultants within the team
Core Areas of Work May Include:
  • Financial and regulatory reporting
  • Capital and risk management
  • Operating model and process reviews
  • Strategic planning and performance analysis
  • Model governance and validation
  • Support for M&A activity and due diligence
Key Requirements:
  • Strong experience in the UK life insurance sector
  • Proven ability to lead client-facing projects or senior internal initiatives
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Background in consulting or a senior in-house role within life insurance
  • Comfortable managing teams and delivering to deadlines
If you have experience of any of the below, you could be a stand out candidate!
  • Model risk and model governance frameworks
  • Actuarial or financial model review and validation
  • Liquidity risk analysis and stress testing
  • Exposure to M&A due diligence or integration
  • Knowledge of Solvency II, IFRS 17, or internal capital models
  • Strong data and analytics understanding within insurance
  • Delivery of Transformation projects in UK Life Insurance
Work Environment:
  • Hybrid working model (mix of office, home, and client site as needed)
  • Can be based in London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow
