Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:30
Start Date: ASAPJob Summary:We are recruiting an experienced Welder/Fabricator for our client based in Heathfield, Newton Abbot. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive hourly rate and regular weekday working hours — perfect for someone looking for stability in a well-established business.Responsibilities:
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
  • Fabricate components from engineering drawings
  • Operate standard workshop machinery and hand tools
  • Complete bespoke and batch production work to a high standard
  • Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a welder/fabricator
  • Confident with MIG and TIG welding techniques
  • Able to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship
  • Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
