- City Guilds or HNC - apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or other approved equivalent training
- Must have completed recognised apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical/building engineering, or plumbing; being skilled in multiple trades
- Gas Safe registered or working towards
- Further significant and relevant post apprenticeship with relevant work experience gained over a number of years
- Industrial Maintenance Experience
- Knowledge of Plant and Machinery over wide range of skills, e.g. Boilers, air conditioning, fire alarms, medical gases, sterilisers, nurse call systems and other equipment
- Work Supervision
- Participate in on-call rota
- Prepared to cross-trade work.
- Able to communicate effectively and appropriately with all members of staff and clients.
- Ability to work alone and take the initiative in matters up to the individual's level of experience and knowledge
- Possess UK Driving Licence and be prepared to drive
- Physically Fit
- Maintain an acceptable appearance utilising at all times the overalls and identification badges supplied by the Trust
