
Maintenance Engineer

- Perform planned preventative maintenance and day-to-day repairs.
- Fault-find and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and decommissioning.
- Work with contractors to deliver efficient service and repairs.
- Drive improvements in machine performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Time-served apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 or higher.
- Electrical competence (PEO Level 2 minimum) and strong mechanical skills.
- Experience in heavy manufacturing or steel processing.
- Skilled in fault finding, reading electrical schematics, and troubleshooting.
- Flexible approach with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- 18th Edition, BTEC Level 3 / HNC or equivalent.
- Experience with lasers, presses, saws, or similar machinery.
- Additional qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH, IPAF, welding).
