- Designing and implementing a forward-looking L&D strategy aligned to business growth and commercial impact.
- Championing digital-first, AI-enhanced learning experiences that meet the needs of a modern workforce.
- Leading a portfolio of learning initiatives-from leadership development to AI upskilling on-demand learning to function-specific capability building.
- Creating compelling business cases for L&D investments, linking interventions to measurable business outcomes.
- Identifying and building strong relationships with high-impact external L&D providers, platforms, and tools.
- Acting as a thought partner to senior leadership on change, performance, and workforce capability. Can consultatively bridge the gap between business and Talent needs to L&D solutions
- Balancing strategy with execution-comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
- Supporting the ongoing transformation of the People team, bringing fresh ideas, experimentation, and energy.
- Proven experience leading L&D in high-growth or fast-paced environments-ideally with experience in fintech, technology or digitally native sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on business outcomes and performance impact.
- Deep knowledge of modern L&D tools, platforms, and AI-driven learning technologies.
- Experience designing and implementing change initiatives and embedding new ways of working.
- A well-developed network of L&D experts, facilitators, platforms, and providers.
- Strong stakeholder management, credibility and influencing skills-especially at senior levels.
- Experience working across geographies and cultures, considering different learning styles and curating programmes that can move groups from point A to point B.
- A data-driven systems thinker, someone who not only solves for today but can develop a scalable mode going forward.
- Comfortable working strategically and tactically; equally happy crafting a vision and making it happen.
