£26,000 – £27,000 per annumAbout the RoleA leading UK brand in high-end interior finishes is seeking a confident, customer-focused Sales Consultant to join their established Cambridge showroom. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected company with a strong reputation in the design and interiors sector.This role is all about building strong client relationships, offering tailored product advice, and guiding customers through the full buying journey—from first showroom visit to product aftercare. If you're personable, professional, and love interiors, this role could be the perfect fit.Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert product advice and design inspiration tailored to customer needs.
- Manage the sales process from initial enquiry to post-sale support.
- Build long-lasting client relationships by offering an honest, consultative approach.
- Handle showroom enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Arrange product samples, process orders and payments, and coordinate deliveries.
- Collaborate with a close-knit team to maintain high showroom standards and ensure smooth customer experiences.
- A proactive, customer-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in a retail, interiors, or client-facing role.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisation and time management.
- Good numeracy and confidence using IT systems.
- 4–5 weeks annual holiday (based on length of service)
