By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA and for the people who work here.NTT DATA is currently looking for a DWDM Consultant on a hybrid working model (remote + on client site in Sheffield) for our growing team in the UK.Your responsibilities:Design, implement and maintain OTN & DWDM solutions aligned with FM TX and IP networking needsConfigure, monitor and troubleshoot network issues related to OTN and DWDM technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance, reliability, and security in optical transport networksIntegrate new technologies to enhance FM TX systems for seamless high-capacity operationsConduct technical assessments, recommend upgrades, and implement performance enhancementsThe ideal candidate for this role will have the below experience:Hands-on experience with DWDM transmission systems, including coherent transponders, EDFAs, Raman amplifiers, and ROADMs is desirable.multiple years of hands-on experience in FM Transmission (TX), OTN and DWDMStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex network environmentsWork modelHybrid working: 3 days/week on client site (London or Sheffield), 2 days/week remote.BenefitsOur people are the most critical component of our long-term success and their health and wellbeing are our priority.
