We are looking for a full-time enthusiastic Locality Manager to join us in providing support to a staff team and provide quality services for vulnerable adults.We have a clear vision for our county which sets out what we want to achieve with our residents. We want to ensure residents, families and communities have the right support in place to enable them to confidently prepare for later life so they can live independently for as long as possible and remain economically active for longer.With a large, dispersed team, covering Leominster, Kington and surrounding areas this leader will be an accomplished communicator and highly respected Social Work leader, skilled at creating a shared vision and culture across all aspects of practice. They will ensure a person-centred, strength based and risk appropriate approach permeates through decision making at all levels. You will need to be office based 2 days a week.You will be an experienced social work manager or a practitioner with substantial experience and expertise in statutory social work looking to progress into a management role. Your experience will enable you to evidence how you have applied your learning to your practice; and you will have a proven track record of excellent practice.You will influence system-wide cultural change, and work together to achieve a joined-up approach to operational services, creating a clear vision for the future social care workforce that demonstrates innovative, best practice and serves to inspire colleagues in other parts of the service and partner agencies.
