Roadside Vehicle Technician Required in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex
  • Basic Salary £48,720
  • On target earnings up to £54,000
  • Leading Breakdown Service provider
  • Super-Flex Hours - needs to be available 6am to 2am
  • Shift patterns available 7-14 days in advance; timings can change at 72 hours' notice
  • Company Vehicle - Fully equipped!
  • Occasional out of area fully compensated - meals and accommodation as well as usual fuel etc.
Roadside Vehicle Technician required for Breakdown provider in Brighton & Hove!Our client is one the UKs largest breakdown service providers with a rich history of providing customers support to getting their vehicle back up and running!With over 100 years trading experience they are one of the biggest brands within the automotive industry with over 4,000 members of staff providing a best-in-class service to both private individuals and businesses.You will need to be qualified to a minimum of Level 2 standard, and ideally have previous experience within vehicle mechanics.We've been working with this group for over 12 months, they provide additional training and development to ensure your skills stay up to date with the newest vehicles on the road.You will be working on combination of Cars and LCVs. This role would suit individuals who love to problem solve on a variety of makes and models of vehicles!What's in it for you as a Roadside Vehicle Technician?

  • Working hours vary week on week and are discussed upon application, however you will know your shifts 12 months in advance on Core Hour shift or for Flexible hours 7 days' notice & 72 hours' notice of specific working hours.
Duties of a Roadside Technician with our Client:
  • Responding to breakdown assistance requests where you will handle a diverse range of technical issues.
  • Using your technical knowledge to work on the electrical and mechanical systems for a range of vehicles.
  • You will use the diagnostic equipment to get to the root cause of faults, carry out technical maintenance, repair or replace parts.
  • Ensure their customer vehicles get back on the road where they belong as quickly as possible.
  • Helping customers in distressing situations.
What our client expects of their Roadside Vehicle Technician?
  • You are a level 2 NVQ or City and Guilds qualified Motor Vehicle Technician
  • Be able to demonstrate comprehensive mechanical, electrical and diagnostic experience on vehicles.
  • You know how to work in a standard job time structure with a focus on producing compliant, high-quality work.
  • Take pride being part of the team and are keen to help colleagues with a hands-on, can-do approach to getting things done.
  • You take pride in providing a great customer experience each day - you understand what is important to your customers and suppliers.
  • Full UK Driving licence - with minimal points.
