About the roleJoin our Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick team as a Records Technician on the Hinkley Point C Project.About Hinkley Point CThe first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Hinkley Point C in Somerset will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy.Marking a significant milestone in the revitalisation of our nuclear power industry, Hinkley Point C will make a major contribution to the UKs move to reduce carbon emissions. The electricity generated by its two EPR reactors will offset 9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year.This role will be 20% site based and 80% based at our SDC offices in Bridgwater.What you'll be doing
  • Compile, review and submit scope LTQR deliverables, ensure for compliance to
requirements.
  • Manage distribution of both electronic and hard copy documents. End to End
configuration control.
  • Prepare data reports when required on document status for LTQR Manager.
  • Assist with production of LTQR handover packs
  • Assist Area LTQR Co-ordinators to ensure appropriate LTQR's are submitted for
work packages as required by contract.
  • Review LTQR's for accuracy and adequacy of content to allow the compilation
of lifetime records to support End of Erection Status ReportsWho we're looking for
  • Excellent IT skills and experience in applying electronic document management
systems (EDMS) and associated metadata schemas.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience on EDMS automation systems and control of
LTQR records.
  • Discipline specific qualification preferred.
  • Major Project or Nuclear Experience beneficial.
  • Ability to obtain a BPSS Security clearance.
