This is a fantastic interim assignment offering remote working and a competitive hourly rate. The successful candidate will join a dedicated legal team and support with a busy caseload of childcare matters.Key Responsibilities:Managing a varied caseload of childcare law matters.
Preparing and conducting proceedings relating to care, adoption, and child protection.
Advising social services and local authority stakeholders on legal issues.
Delivering high-quality work to court deadlines in a fast-paced environment.About You:
We are seeking an experienced childcare solicitor with:A strong background in local authority childcare law.
Excellent knowledge of public law children proceedings.
The ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision.
Immediate availability for locum/contract work.What's on Offer:£40 - £50 per hour (via Umbrella payroll).
Remote working flexibility.
Initial 2-month contract with likely extension.
