Welcome to West London Crisis Recovery House as Team Manager.West London Crisis Recovery House is Registered Care Home, working in a recovery model. The services are staffed 24/7 and offer support to our residents aged 18 and upwards.The services apply a strength-based approach to help individuals maximise their health, wellbeing and independence. As part of your role, you will be helping the people we work with to develop a personal support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations.The Crisis Recovery House works in partnership with the West London NHS Trust. Working in a crisis service will provide you with an opportunity to work alongside clinical teams in assessing the suitability of referrals to the service as well as working closely with the Crisis Team who visit the service daily, in delivering care to the people using the service.Team Manager is a vital front line management role in a fast pace dynamic service. The Crisis Recovery House is a Registered Care Home however it provides a unique opportunity to work with people in crisis in close partnership with the Ealing Crisis and Assessment Team as well as other clinical teams such an Inpatient Services, Liaison Psychiatry, Early Intervention and MINT teams.As Team Manager you will be supporting the Registered Manager to uphold standards of care and safe practice so a knowledge of Registered Care would be an advantage. You will also be providing line management to a small caseload of staff including providing support and supervision and managing performance.To succeed, you will need to be solution focused and outcome driven, with a passion and enthusiasm to deliver outstanding support. You will also need skills in managing conflicting demands and priorities, motivating staff and delegating work, as well as a good understanding of managing client risk and safe working practices.
