Senior Practitioner | MASH Team (Children's) | Hybrid WorkingSandwell Council is seeking a skilled and experienced Children’s Senior Practitioner to join their fast-paced Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is a vital frontline role in safeguarding children, working closely with partners to screen referrals, assess risk, and make timely, informed decisions.You'll play a key role in coordinating responses to safeguarding concerns and guiding practitioners in complex decision-making within a multi-agency setting.Key Responsibilities:Screen and analyse referrals relating to children and familiesApply threshold criteria and make clear safeguarding decisionsWork closely with Police, Health, Education, and other partnersSupport and guide junior staff within the MASHContribute to strategy meetings and multi-agency planningMaintain accurate and timely case recordsPractice Model:
This role requires strong safeguarding knowledge, excellent decision-making, and the ability to respond quickly and effectively.
