- Developing and driving the OVO PayG strategy, ensuring it is well understood and socialized across the organization. This will start with a full end to end gap analysis of the PAYG business.
- Leading the transformation of the PAYG customer experience, ensuring there is a clear roadmap towards the north star developed..
- Leading a small cross functional team of PAYG strategy and journey managers
- Having detailed oversight of in-flight PAYG deliveries and key risks, ensuring that prioritisation across the wider organization addresses key areas of business and customer risk.
- Highlighting strategic gaps or key decisions required to senior leadership when progress is not aligned with customer and business needs.
- Collaborating across Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operational teams to align the PAYG strategy with broader strategic objectives.
- Monitoring industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity within the PAYG space to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Leading and motivating project and operational teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer-first thinking.
- Proven experience in strategy development and delivery, ideally within the utilities or financial services sectors.
- Significant experience of strategy development and its translation into successful outcome delivery.
- Significant experience working with product, data and technology teams with a deep understanding of development lifecycles.
- A track record of delivering transformational change within the energy business or a similarly regulated industry
- A strong understanding of Ofgem regulations and risk management, with experience balancing customer, business and regulatory outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage at a senior level.
- A genuine passion for creating positive customer outcomes.
