
Field Service Engineer (Marine)

- Provide support for marine products as part of the Global Marine Field Service team.
- Conduct diagnostics and repairs at customer or third-party premises.
- Perform major unit overhauls on-site.
- Travel and work internationally as part of the team.
- Assist the Marine sales team with technical aspects.
- Ensure all tooling and equipment are within calibration dates.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and their representatives.
- Seek and report on future business opportunities.
- Consult on Health & Safety matters as required.
- Maintain paperwork and timely submission of reports.
- Represent our client positively and professionally at all times.
- Work unsociable hours where required to meet customer needs.
- Experience in field service engineering.
- Background in marine engineering, such as Royal Navy, Merchant Navy, Ship's crew, or Drydocks.
- Electrical and mechanical experience.
- HV experience, including electrical motors and inverters.
- Knowledge of electronic control systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driving licence.
- Excellent communication skills on a technical level with both internal and external customers.
- Permanent contract with a 41-hour working week.
- Salary £50,000-£75,000 (dependant on experience)
- Annual bonus (pro-rata in the first year).
