  • Qualified Accountant / Part Qualified / QBE
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Confidnet to lead a small team
  • Strong analytical and financial planning skills, able to influence decision-making
What you'll doThe Financial Controller will be responsible for managing all financial operations within the business, ensuring accurate reporting, supporting commercial decision-making, and leading a small finance team. This role will play a key part in driving performance, improving systems, and supporting strategic initiatives across the company.
  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts with insightful commentary
  • Produce financial and operational reports using Excel
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and debtor control
  • Oversee inventory valuation and costing processes
  • Support operational teams with cost analysis and margin improvement initiatives
  • Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring a high-performance culture
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and prepare year-end accounts
  • Liaise with external accountants
